Abstract

This issue presents diverse perspectives on global library developments, including a major study on U.S. public library staffing and budgeting, and a bibliometric analysis of library and information science literature. Other articles examine the evolving role of library and information science education in the UK, legal deposit systems in Canada and Japan, and library development in the Eastern Caribbean. Together, these contributions highlight trends, challenges, and international approaches in library policy, education, and information access.
