Abstract
"The 50th IFLA General Conference to be held in Nairobi from 19th-25th August, 1984 will be the first on the African soil and it will be only the second time that the Conference is being held in a developing country. The theme for this conference will be "The basis of library and information services for national development". To mark this great event, Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation will issue special stamps in denominations of 70cts, Shs 3/50, Shs 5/- and Shs 10/-.
