The library has a fundamental role in providing opportunities for quality learning and literacy enrichment that helps shape and develop unique ideas and perspectives. During these challenging times, our library has stayed engaged and relevant by delivering more services and activities directly to the homes of our users. Users have gotten accustomed to staying at home and having everything delivered to their “door”—so we adjusted accordingly, and the response has been exceptionally positive. Because of our proactive approach, our users now rely on our effective and reliable resources and have a much fuller appreciation of who we are and what we can do for them. We have turned a challenging time into an excellent opportunity for our users to discover that the library is always there for them, both online and offline, whenever they need us. We have used this opportunity to communicate with our users through various channels to help them stay connected and inspired, which also inspired us. Our users now utilize our services more than ever because we are always there for them and we promote the ideal learning environment for all users, all the time. We have reached out to our users through free book deliveries, we have collaborated with more student groups to promote and deepen our relationship with the community we serve. Our move to a hybrid library model was successful because all participants can enjoy their personal learning journey as much as we enjoy their interaction with us.en_US
