dc.description.abstract"In 1976, IFLA adopted a Medium-Term Programme. It was intended to guide the professional activities of IFLA and of its constituent bodies in the years to 1980. The present publication is the second Medium-Term Programme, covering the years to 1985, and builds on the activities of prior years including the progress made under the first Medium-Term Programme. As in its predecessor, most of the material comes from the professional groups: their work, to a very large extent, is IFLA." [from the Introduction]
