dc.description.abstractThe poster describes the objectives pursued by the University of Costa Rica, Caribbean Campus library, related to local communities. The activities are primarily aimed at children and adolescents in elementary and high schools, providing books and technological educational materials to make reading more engaging. The activities aim to foster creativity, innovation, and awaken curiosity and critical thinking, using illustrated and pop-up books as well as STEM materials. We aim to help children and teenagers recognize the value of books as a means to shape their future.
