Abstract
When the United Nations Member States agreed the 2030 Agenda, they recognised that without specific targets and a framework for measuring progress, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) would be meaningless. As a result, connected to the 17 headline goals, there are 169 targets and 232 indicators that will allow us to know how further we have got towards their achievement. Although all goals are interconnected and the work of libraries contributes to all of them, some of these targets are particularly more relevant to the library and information field. This infographic offers a list of 20 selected targets across the SDGs with a closer relation to access to information and libraries. We hope this list can be helpful for your advocacy and awareness-raising work - for example you can talk about how your library contributes to each of these, or refer to specific targets when writing to governments or other stakeholders. It can also provide inspiration for preparing and submitting your SDGs Story to the IFLA Library Map of the World.
