dc.description.abstractThe Kruševac Public Library promotes local cultural heritage. The Digital Library connected literary heritage and traditional reading with new technologies. The use of QR codes in the display of books leads to the content and description of the books. Developing reading skills in children and youth - organization of a literary competition, quizzes among school youth in order to popularize local cultural heritage and organization of the Reading Diary competition. In cooperation with schools, holding a literature class in the Library. The library develops digital competences among young people with new Micro:bit technologies along with educational workshops. The Story Times encourages children's creativity and innovation through experiential reading and participation in art workshops. In the Loan Department, new furniture, bright shelves and pastel colors create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. According to the space of the e-Reading room, the installation was done by the artist Vuk Ćuk. The mobile library provides services to the youngest users for whom the library is far away.
