Minutes of Meeting: Resource Sharing during COVID-19 Steering Committee, 3 November 2025

Abstract

The Resource Sharing Collaborative and Volunteering Document Delivery (RSCVD) steering committee held on the 3rd of November discussed dissemination efforts, including accepted conference presentations in Bangkok ((January 2026), a potential IRRT webinar with multilingual options, outreach to New Zealand and U.S. libraries and TALARIA software updates. The Open Access API will disable on November 18, 2025; testing OpenAlex (target go-live November 11) is underway with hopes for premium access. Future notification enhancements were proposed but deferred. Steering Committee roles were reviewed: Secretary team (Giovanna Colombo, Luis Fernando Rodríguez, Jacob Long) and Communication Coordinators (Edward Cardoso, Debora Mazza). A communications subgroup (Edward, Peter B., Tom, Debora, Zaid) formed to explore multilingual strategies like newsletters and social media, emphasizing best practices sharing. Finally, further updates were discussed: DALIA repository task force (Silvana, Debora, Carmen, Ramazan, Lapis) for archiving materials and activities; Public Knowledge Project (PKP ) collaboration meeting targeted for late January, with a Doodle poll.
