The Perak State Public Library Corporation has recently announced the Kuala Kangsar Public Library as a library with bibliotourism concept. Bibliotourism is about travelling and love the library, where domestic and foreign tourists will make the library a source of reference and guidance. The Kuala Kangsar Public Library is the first library in Malaysia to embrace the concept of bibliotourism. This innovative approach encourages both domestic and foreign tourists to visit the library and use its resources as a source of reference and guidance. By organizing the interior of the building to showcase historical pictures, art, and the culture of the local people, the library has become a one-stop center in the city. Visitors can enjoy free city tours that showcase the beauty of Kuala Kangsar, including interesting tourist spots with beautiful landscapes, delicious local food, and locally produced handicrafts. The library's strategic location near the Perak River, which was once a major water transport route, makes it an ideal location for creator content, with ample opportunities for taking photos and making videos for social media. To attract tourists' interest, the library also offers a range of amenities and facilities. Reading materials related to the area's attractions are displayed alongside posters, exhibitions, and related activities. In addition, tourists can enjoy free WiFi access and electricity, making it easy for them to check emails, search for information, update their social media accounts, and charge their devices. Overall, the bibliotourism concept has transformed the Kuala Kangsar Public Library into a must-visit destination for tourists interested in exploring the rich cultural heritage of Malaysia.en_US
