dc.description.abstractHet IFLA-UNESCO Manifest Schoolbibliotheek 2025 is een geactualiseerde versie van het IFLA/Unesco Manifest Schoolbibliotheek: onderwijs voor iedereen met ondersteuning van de schoolbibliotheek (1999). Deze nieuwe versie, waarin rekening wordt gehouden met de vele veranderingen op het gebied van technologie, maatschappij en onderwijs, is een belangrijk en nuttig hulpmiddel voor pleitbezorgers van de rol van de schoolbibliotheek binnen hoogwaardig en inclusief onderwijs. De tekst is het resultaat van samenwerking binnen de IFLA, de IASL en de wereldwijde schoolbibliotheekgemeenschap. Het oorspronkelijke Engelstalige manifest werd op 12 september 2021 gezamenlijk uitgebracht door de vaste schoolbibliotheekcommissie van de IFLA en de IASL. Op 17 april 2023 werd de tekst vastgesteld door de raad van bestuur van de IFLA. In april 2025 volgde vaststelling tijdens de 13e zitting van de Intergouvernementele Raad van UNESCO IFAP.
