Abstract
Articles in this issue focus on important policy and trending issues that impact libraries and their patrons. The topics of privacy literacy, cultural heritage preservation, and skills for the continuing information revolution highlight the field’s important role in moving into the future while preserving our collective pasts. Two additional articles contribute research on the role of libraries in promoting both the UN sustainable development goals and ensuring that our societies can achieve environmental sustainably.
