dc.description.abstractIYALI – the Initiative for Young African Library Innovators – is a partnership between EIFL-PLIP, the African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AfLIA) and the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) – that provides knowledge-sharing, professional networking an international learning experience. By connecting young African public librarians with their peers inside and outside of Africa, IYALI creates an opportunity to expand their professional horizons, explore new ideas and see their own work and achievements in a new and different light. The poster presents 15 inspiring public library professionals from Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, who have been selected take part in IYALI programme in 2018, and new services offered by their public libraries.en
