Abstract
Minutes of the 97th IFLA Governing Board meeting held on 19 August 2023 in Rotterdam. The Board approved previous meeting minutes, endorsed the 2022 Annual Accounts and Annual Report, and authorized an Advisory Referendum on WLIC 2024 in Dubai. Key discussions included updates on the Plan for Securing IFLA’s Future, the Risk Register, regional office appointments for 2024–2026, and the creation of an Advisory Committee on Open Science and Scholarship. The Board also approved a 4% increase in membership fees for 2024 and reviewed strategic direction highlights and committee reports.
