It starts with the two major policy objectives for the near future: Universal Bibliographic Control, true Universality of IFLA, and cooperation in the UNESCO NATIS (National Information Systems) program. The pamphlet then continues with examples of Section and Committee work, a description of the General Conferences, and the history and structure of the Federation.
