Abstract

Academic libraries have a crucial purpose in supporting the curriculum and educational process of its institution especially in today's rapidly reshaping informational environment. Libraries have a responsibility in teaching research inquiry skills, providing space and material resources needed for research and facilitating collaborative work throughout the research process. Poster will highlight role of Library and Documentation Centre at Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb (LDC-FEB) within new European project (Erasmus + project Jean Monnet Actions in other fields of Education and Training: Teacher Training called "Solidary Europe for Inclusive Society (EUsolis)" that will include knowledge transfer from FEB researchers and librarians to school librarians and high school teachers (Vocational Education and Training - VET) in different parts of Croatia. Purpose of this project is transferring the knowledge by providing the primary information resources, with emphasis on digital and open source, creating the teaching materials and supporting VET in gaining new skills for better engagement at EU themes within the VET school students and their environment. LDC-FEB will take a role and be the focal point and a bridge that connects institutional knowledge on a different educational level with an efficient impact on national level.
