This poster presents the innovative initiatives of Jungseok Memorial Library at Inha University, showcasing how AI-powered reading engagement transforms university members and local marginalized groups from passive consumers into active digital creators. We redefine literacy as a multifaceted competency that merges critical reading with AI-driven content creation through three core initiatives: 1. Human-Centric AI Education: Expert-led lectures balancing technical skills with humanistic insight, consistently drawing over 100 participants per session. 2. "Booktuber" Video Contest: Empowering students to reinterpret reading experiences into creative multimedia narratives, expanding the digital reading archive through increased user-generated content. 3. AI-powered Multicultural Archive: Supporting marginalized groups, such as multicultural community members, to digitize and share their voices, enhancing social inclusivity and cultural diversity. These projects have fostered active participation, a significant expansion of user-generated multimedia content, and enhanced digital competency, demonstrating a shift in users’ roles from passive readers to confident digital creators. Unlike traditional programs, this model integrates AI, storytelling, and community engagement into a scalable and replicable framework. This poster demonstrates how academic libraries can reposition themselves as engines of digital creativity and inclusive innovation, offering a practical model that can be adapted across diverse library contexts in the age of AI.
