This poster aligns with the WLIC 2026 theme “Transforming the Information Landscape”, focusing particularly on Trend 2 of the IFLA Trend Report, which examines how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping society and the ways people create, access, and use information. It addresses the report’s guiding questions by exploring how AI changes learning, translation, and content creation, how libraries navigate security concerns, and how enhanced protections influence access and trust. NUS Libraries’ digitization efforts, especially in working with multilingual, historically significant, and culturally specific materials, illustrate how institutions can support more inclusive discovery and understanding. By strengthening preservation, improving access pathways, and facilitating cultural exchange initiatives, the library contributes to a more resilient and context-sensitive information landscape without overstating the influence of any single project or technology.
