dc.description.abstractMinutes of the 80th IFLA Governing Board meeting held on 27 August 2021 via teleconference. The Board reviewed the 2021 half-year financial report, noting a forecasted deficit and reaffirming IFLA’s stable financial position. Key decisions included initiating the establishment of a Finance and Risk Committee, approving the 2021 Workplan and Dashboard, and endorsing the timeline for the IFLA Handbook. The Board appointed Martyn Wade as IFLA Parliamentarian through August 2023 and granted General Power of Attorney to the Secretary General. Updates were also provided on IFLA’s external representation. An executive session followed.
