dc.description.abstractIFLA-UNESCO സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറി മാനിഫെസ്റ്റോ 2025, മുൻ IFLA/UNESCO സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറി മാനിഫെസ്റ്റോയുടെ [അധ്യാപനത്തിലും പഠനത്തിലും എല്ലാവർക്കുമായുള്ള സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറി -1999] പുതുക്കിയ പതിപ്പാണ്. സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ, സമൂഹം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം എന്നിവയിലെ നിരവധി മാറ്റങ്ങളെ പുതിയ പതിപ്പ് പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്, കൂടാതെ ഗുണനിലവാരമുൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നതും എല്ലാവരേയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നതുമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനായുള്ള സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറി വാദത്തിനുമുള്ള ഒരു പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടതും ഉപയോഗപ്രദവുമായ ഉപകരണമെന്ന നിലയിലും പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നു. IFLA, IASL, ആഗോള സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറി സമൂഹം എന്നിവയ്ക്കുള്ളിലെ ഒരു സഹകരണ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ ഫലമാണ് ഈ മാനിഫെസ്റ്റോ. 2021 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 12-ന് IFLA സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രറികൾ സെക്ഷൻ സ്റ്റാൻഡിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റിയും IASL - ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് സ്കൂൾ ലൈബ്രേറിയൻഷിപ്പും സംയുക്തമായി ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ ഇത് പുറത്തിറക്കി, 2023 ഏപ്രിൽ 17-ന് IFLA ഗവേണിംഗ് ബോർഡ് അംഗീകരിച്ചു. 2025 ഏപ്രിലിൽ യുനെസ്കോയുടെ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ഫോർ ഓൾ പ്രോഗ്രാമിന്റെ (IFAP) ഇന്റർഗവൺമെന്റൽ കൗൺസിലിന്റെ 13-ാം സെഷനിൽ ഇത് ആത്യന്തികമായി അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
