Abstract
The Resource Sharing Collaborative and Volunteering Document Delivery (RSCVD)steering committee held its monthly meeting on the 14th of May 2025 and discussed the Talaria updates with the progress of the statistics implementation. The 2nd point shared the upcoming plans for RSCVD demos: the Lisbon conference (31t of May), IFLA WLIC Poster session approval, the CARA Middle East RSCVD webinar to be held on the 30th of June for the Syrian researchers. The RSCVD nominations were discussed and bringing new members from the European such as Germany and France was encouraged. The RSCVD members who serve under the DDRS Committee were all reelected in IFLA, and a new librarian from Bosphorus University interested in RSCVD was introduced to the committee during the meeting. The RSCVD new brochure created for IFLA and all activities was translated into Russian, and more languages are needed like the Spanish, Arabic, French. Katia offered to translate the brochure to Arabic. A debate about whether to include the information about the member library's profile identifying them as lenders or borrowers was initiated. It turned out to be a complex topic and requires further reflection. The last point was about best practices in Talaria. Peter bae offered to develop a set of best practices based on recurring challenges. Giovanna proposed of creating a video tutorial to explain common mistakes and how to avoid them. Carmen proposed to send information about specific bad practices to the RSCVD mailing list.
