A brief comment about the relation between SINAES - Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior - and the collection development of a academic library. Public institutions in Brazil must obey the law 8.666/90 and academic libraries must reach a good score to each undergraduate course – which are part of the Institution global score.
