Abstract
In this new era with evolving AI technology, students are increasingly spending so much time on their phones at home. How to attract them to the library, to stimulate their interests in reading books, and to equip them with knowledge of applying new technologies and resources have become one of the top challenges for librarians.
In recent years, all universities in Taiwan are facing the falling student enrollment, especial among in the type of technology universities. Even so, Chaoyang University of Technology ranks in the list of top 1000+ Universities and top 300 Young Universities of THE 2019, and have won more than 241 prizes in International Invention Exhibitions from 2011-2019. However, little attention has been devoted to our library. The Poding Memorial Library of our university is the center role in supporting the academic achievement, In addition, the overall checkout rate still is the highest among the technology universities in Taiwan. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals of IFLA, this poster will present our iSpace for presenting library re-designed the existing limited space and extended services with a goal to build an informative, sharing, perspective, active, creative, and explorative library.
