IFLA-UNESCO Public Library Manifesto 2022 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Abstract

The IFLA-UNESCO Public Library Manifesto 2022 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are essential principles for advocacy of public libraries worldwide. In this publication, relevant excerpts from the Manifesto are cross-linked to the appropriate SDGs. This underlines the close connection of the Manifesto with the SDGs and the key role of public libraries in helping to facilitate the achievement of these goals.
