Abstract

The Resource Sharing Collaborative and Volunteering Document Delivery (RSCVD) steering committee met on 4 March, and the meeting began with an update on the new features of the RSCVD app, including email notifications. Participants then summarized the outcomes of the meeting with some members of the PKP project: this is a project with over 20 years’ experience, involving staff and volunteers, and a funding management approach focused on long-term sustainability thanks to international collaboration with funding institutions in exchange for mutual benefits. At suggestion of Carmen Lomba (RSCVD Chair), the application to the IFLA Impact & Innovation Fund (for projects on sustainable library services with a global impact) was discussed. Given the imminent deadline for applications (19 April 2026) and considering that only IFLA members may apply, some committee members offered to explore the possibility of applying through their own institutions. It was decided to discuss the next steps for the application in a smaller meeting. Finally, updates were provided regarding the following points: inclusion of RSCVD in the IFLA MCULTP guidelines; a short text presented in the International Toolkit; papers, posters and surveys to be presented at the 19th ILDS conference in Rome, and new partners signed ups to the RSCVD app.
