Abstract
Report on IFLA's activities in 1977 by IFLA Secretary General, Margreet Wijnstroom. From the Introduction: "The information provided in this annual report supplements that which is to be found in IFLA 's Progress Report July 1976/July 1977, which was distributed as a separate brochure at Brussels (September 1977). For the benefit of those who did not see that report some salient points will be repeated here. In future IFLA will publish calendar-year reports. The following report will be presented for discussion by the Secretary General at the business meeting of the IFLA Council, 28 August 1978, Štrbské Pleso (CSSR)."
